Dear Anne-Marie,

February is a big month for us! We are very pleased to have the 2021 HRMI human rights survey now in the field.

If you have been invited to participate, please click on the secure, anonymous link in your email to share your knowledge with us. Do check your spam folder, and add @humanrightsmeasurement.org to your safe senders' list to make sure you receive your link.

This year we have additional questions about the effect of Covid-19 on human rights. We expand the number of countries each year, and we're now including Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan for the first time!

We run our survey in order to amplify the voices of human rights practitioners around the world, and produce useful, compelling data, to help the global human rights community improve people's lives.

We look forward to sharing the results of the survey with you, and the rest of the world, in June. We appreciate your contributions and interest enormously.

Ngā manaakitanga (yours with care and kindness),
Thalia

Second animated video!
We're also excited to share with you our second animated video explaining how and why we measure human rights.

This one talks about civil and political rights, including how our survey methodology works. Take a look!

How is your country doing?
Have you looked at your country's human rights scores lately?

You can head to our Rights Tracker anytime to see a range of scores measuring how well your government is treating people.

For a quick tour around the main features of the Rights Tracker, check out our short video demo.
Pass it on!
